Why is it so hot in LA today?

Ugh it just hit 111' I can't stay cool, this Arizona weather not southern California weather. Oh well, im just gonna sit in front of the ac all day, lolWhy is it so hot in LA today?
Could you send some heat my way? I'm cold and needed two blankets to sleep with.

I'm near Temecula, California. It's 120 right now. It could be hotter, but that's as high as the thermometer goes. I'm waiting for birds to start dropping out of the sky fully cooked. Thank god it's "Autumn", huh?

It's because of a flow of air off of the desert. At 11:00 a.m., downtown Los Angeles has broken the old record of 106 degrees set in 1963 for the date and has now matched the 107 degree-mark set in 1991.Why is it so hot in LA today?

Just a good old-fashioned high-pressure system parked over ALL of California !! It's 115* outside up here in the foothills near Sonora. Prediction is weather like this all fricking week !!

Indian Summer it was cold in the summer months now its hot in the winter months-pollution/were destroying ourselves with our own selfish stupidity
