the woods? Global warming ????Fires in Arizona, floods in Texas and we in W NC without water, what is happening weather-wise in your neck of
I'm in Arizona. The reason we are having so many fires is because we are in a major drought. The second reason is that many environmentalists fought the thinning of the forest that they wanted to do to avoid a disasterous fire. Since they didn't do that, nature is doing it for them.
They do say that Global Warming may have an effect on the hurricanes though.
The South-West is in another drought season. Definitely Global Warming.Fires in Arizona, floods in Texas and we in W NC without water, what is happening weather-wise in your neck of

Global Warming seems to be the main factor, as with it, many natural cycles are being messed up. I wish somebody actually cared enough about this thing :(
I'm in Pittsburgh, Pa. It's currently 73 degrees Fahrenheit, and a thunderstorm that just passed by about 15-20 minutes ago. It's prematurely dark and gloomy.
I love thunderstorms. : )
Overall, it's been really hot and humid; I think a bit more so than usual. Thunderstorms at night are a bit more common than usual, too.
That's all I've got.
Generally quiet...... for now.
I expect a MUCH more active time of it this weekend/early next week.
-combo. of a strong cold fron diving SE, and a tropical disturbance/uppler-low.- (We`ll have to watch it for some SLOW, GRADUAL development.
Global Warming?
