Is there any other U.S. city / state that has better weather than the city / state of Phoenix, Arizona?

I moved from the Midwest here 4 years ago and I love it. I was wondering if there was any other city / state that provided and good economy, rise in employment, housing, and near perfect weather. Is there any other U.S. city / state that has better weather than the city / state of Phoenix, Arizona?
I just moved to Buckeye, which is on the westside of Phoenix, from San Diego one year ago. What I like about this community are the opportunities for financial growth. I sold my house in SD and with the inflated proceeds was able to buy a house 2x the size with more land and still have enough money leftover to start building a restaurant.

I have come to the conclusion that if you live in the Phoenix area and you are in the construction trades and are unemployed, you are either lazy or dead. There is construction happening everywhere in this valley. Shopping centers, homes, stadiums and public infrastructure.

As for the weather...Winter temps are about like San Diego, however we do not get as much rain. Summers are triple-digit hot. I think this is the only place where the time-of-day, the temperature and my golf score can be the same number. I have noticed that with the drier air I get less colds or flu like symptoms. You adjust to the heat and pace yourself accordingly. I played golf all summer long and just drank more water and kept ice cold towels in the cart to wipe down with. They have golf courses here just as nice as Torrey Pines that can be played for 90% less money.

Hope this answers your question....Good question by the way.

I don't think there is. YES the summer is hot but after two or three summers you get use to them.Is there any other U.S. city / state that has better weather than the city / state of Phoenix, Arizona?
Well, it depends on what you consider "best weather." Some people like it cold so they can ski, others want is constantly warm so they can swim. Palm Springs is nice, but there is no beach, San Diego is nice weather year round, but a long way from the mountains Colorado Springs, Co is nice for skiing and temperate year round climate.... so it depends on what you are looking for.
Scientists say that San Diego is the best climate for humans...

Personally, I like the Phoenix area better but everyone seems to be inlove with San Diego. Is there any other U.S. city / state that has better weather than the city / state of Phoenix, Arizona?
Well the summers in Phoenix are about the worst in the country (with the exception of the Gulf Coastal Texas)

However, year round, I think San Diego is better.
San Diego, Southern Ca, and Hawaii have the best weather in the country hands down.

San Diego is one of the most mild cities in America and it's always somewhere between 65-80 year round near the coast. If you live near the ocean you don't need AC or need to use your heater except for a few nights a year, it's almost always a comfortable temp in San Diego. Sunny and in the 70's 90% of the year is the best weather.

Phoenix's summers are horrible, which is why beginning in May there is a steady stream of Zonies that head to San Diego during the summer. Phoenix has some of the hottest summers on earth of any major city in the world.
San Diego has probably the ideal climate, but it's incredibly expensive. Same problem with Los Angeles. Phoenix has good weather apart from the summer, but it is affordable.
El Paso Texas. Although I hate it there because it is so close to the border there are a lot of Mexicans and a whole lot of people who can't speak English
Ventura County, CA - If you're too cold at the beach, you can drive 25 minutes inland and you'll be in the warm Fillmore, CA where it can be 100 in the summer, but when the sun goes down, it actually cools down. San Diego can be a little more muggy then Ventura County, but it's not full of tourists.
Hawaii

Seem to always be in the mid 70's .....all year
