What are some good plants for hot weather?

Your best bet for finding plants that will do well in your area is to visit your local garden center and check out what is being sold. Most "patio" plants and flowers will come with tags that will tell you what the plant's lighting requirements are, water needs, etc. What are some good plants for hot weather?
Rosemary and aloe plants are fantastic for hot weather. Rosemary offers additional advantages as it can be used with cooking and it has a wonderful smell-it can be used to improve the smells in your home. What are some good plants for hot weather?
Your weather is excellent for "cacti and succulents" and many of them flower well in attractive colours. Try your local nursery (garden centre or whereever they sell plants) for this section of plants. You can very well keep them on the patio and water requirement is very little.
