How do I deal with this arizona heat?

Well I live in phoenix, arizona and it's so hot! It gets above 115 degrees and I'm pretty sure it'll get hotter. I don't think people were made for this weather. :/ and my family isn't that wealthy so our air conditioner can't be that high. Don't get me wrong winters are beautiful here but how do I cool down in this blazing heat??:/How do I deal with this arizona heat?
Avoid mid day heat outdoors.

When you must be out in the sun wear sunscreen, hat, and have water with you.

Wear cool clothing made of natural fibers

Keep hydrated

If you can't keep your home cool enough consider going to a movie, the mall, or somewhere indoors that is air conditioned.

First off, I'm in London, so not Arizona. But it's getting very hot here too and so I've been looking in to how to stay healthy. As other people have said, you've got to keep hydrated. People should be drinking 6 - 8 glasses of water a day anyway, whether you're in AZ or not. But in baking temperatures like yours I suggest drinking a bit more.



Bear in mind that caffeinated drinks - coffee, sodas - are mild diuretics, so they'll make you want to pee. Don't assume that they're substitutes for regular water. You should also keep emergency bottles of water in any vehicles you own; you don't want to be stuck in traffic without anything to do drink.How do I deal with this arizona heat?
try to stay in low shaded areas like basements, but honestly ill trade climates i live in new England and our heat is very thick and humid, miserable sweaty, 75 degrees here feels the same as your 100 degrees with the humidity, and not to mention our winters go below 0 and make life miserable by coldness/lowering car value from abuse/ cracking roads and new england always looks dumpy "the grass is always greener" no matter where u live the climate u live in will irritate you after a few years
Drink lots of water because its also really dry here

and try not to go out in the afternoon until at least 7 because the hottest time of the day is usually around 4. Usually the East and North sides of the house are coolest in the afternoon.

If I could, I would buy one of those cars that you can remotely start. Then you could start the a/c in your car before you get in!! Tint your car windows! Buy on of those wheel covers!!!



Also go to place to can hang out all day in doors like a Mall or Movies.

Swim in a shaded pool or at night!



Try a nice glass of cold white wine! lol!
I would say wear very little clothing, but thats my advice to women even in cold weather. lol
