How is the weather year round around phoenix arizona?

when does it get cold, what are the tempertaures month after month and the conditions (rainy, sunny, cloudy) out here in nj it gets cold around september, about november people start to wear heavy sweaters and its freezing til the middle of march where it gets warmer...the conditions out here for the summer are mainly wet humid weather where its just a sticky hot, goes from 70 to 90 on average. sometimes with no warmth but just stickiness, in winter its real cold, it snows and the temp is around 30 to 40 on average i would say its mainly cloudy year round....can someone explain it to me like i have explained nj.?How is the weather year round around phoenix arizona?
In the winter the temperature is usually pleasant during the day (60s to 80s), but it can get cold at night (as low as 40 degrees, and occasionally below freezing). In the summer, it can get as hot as 110 to 120 degrees, but the humidity is very low until monsoon season (July through mid-September). It can be humid and rainy during that time. A dry 110 degrees isn't as bad as it sounds, but when it's hot and humid it can get unpleasant. Fortunately that doesn't last too long. Really the biggest problem isn't the weather; it's the air pollution. Phoenix is one of the worst cities in the country for air quality, and there are often high pollution advisories in the summer, usually due to high levels of ozone or particulates. How is the weather year round around phoenix arizona?
I do not like the cold at all and I end up using my fur coat during the winter months, from November to Feb I am in fur. I'm from a hot place and humid place so this heat is wondeerful to me, most people have swimming pools as well so when it is hot you can jump in your pool. How is the weather year round around phoenix arizona?
I sure can. I am originally from NJ and I have lived in Phoenix for many years. The months of June, July, August, until the middle of September are hot like an oven. You need to bring bottled water with you when you go out on the streets. It cools off in late September and is cooler in October, wear a sweater or light jacket. It gets cold in mid to late November. Colder in December. Coldest in January when you have to wear a heavy coat and warm sweaters in the mornings, especially. Starts to warm a little in mid February. Gets springish in March; you smell the orange blossoms. April is the nicest month with daytime temps in the 70's and 80's. May is a lot warmer; you start getting thirsty when you are out. Then the onslought of the summer. Hope this is a good reply.
Ill explain it two ways

3-4 months of hell and 8-9 months of paradise.

Humidity is only a problem in late july and in august.

Phoenix weather can be broken down into 4 phases.

Jan-March- abit cold- medium jacket for jan, light for Feb-March

April-May- its warming up. always have shorts ready to go. nice as can be outside.

June/July- Hell on earth. You'll be lucky to get a low below 80 at night.

August September- Humidity kicks in- not as bad as back east, but still its hot and humid.(dry heat is better though)

October-November- paradise. get the light jacket out.

I don't think I have ever needed a heavy jacket here in Phoenix, but if you go up to northern AZ- it helps to atleast have a medium jacket.
