How to dress for the weather in Arizona?

My husband and I are going to be visiting in the Phoenix area next week and we are curious on how we should pack. We are from Ohio and currently hibernating for winter. Should we bring shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops? We just don't want to end up packing our entire closet because we are not sure what we will need? Any suggestions would be appreciated! How to dress for the weather in Arizona?
i moved to phoenix from boston, so for the last 4 weeks i have been wearing shorts, tank tops, and sundresses (it's 70-85) and people who are from here all look at me like i'm crazy because they still have on their jeans and sweatshirts! But it's definitely awesome here right now, i go hiking every weekend at 8am because by 11 it's too hot. not too hot to enjoy the outside, just too hot for vigorous hiking.

You will surely enjoy being away from snow for a little while...i'm never going back haha
Sunglasses, hats, SPF 60, and Hiking boots and running shoes, , shorts, jeans for night if it gets cool, this time of year(March) you might want a light jacket or hoodie only at night.. T-shits, a bathing suit if you plan on swimming, If your going out to eat somewhere nice. I always were nice slacks and a button shirt. On long, one short. You decide. Pair of slippers and plenty of socks, there are a lot of cactus here and the pickers seem to be everywhere. Flip flops are not recommended. Also it is quite dusty and if you have allergies you might want to bring some benadryl or something like that and kleenex. Its awsome here weather is always nice. Sunsets are amazing. If you get a chance come to Tucson you wont regret it the senoran desert is spectacular, night life is great and less pricey and there are more mountains for hiking and get over to Sabino Canyon thats a must. Have a great trip! How to dress for the weather in Arizona?
Pack for warm to hot weather. You're going to get plenty of the hot Phoenix sun this time of year. Phoenix is usually in the 80's in the daytime this time of year. T-shirts, shorts, tank tops, sandals, and bathing suit will just fine. Take along plenty of sunscreen and some good sunglasses, too.
Next week the lows are going to be mid 50's and highs will be low 80's. With the sun and low humity, it will feel about 90. Bring summer cloths and soak up the sun! Also bring or get some sunscreen. :)

While you're in Phoenix, take a small hike up South Mountain just to see Phoenix from high up. Along the way, you will see some neat plant life too! Don't worry about snakes. I have yet to see one while hiking....knock on wood! lolHow to dress for the weather in Arizona?
