Is Flagstaff, Arizona a good place to live. How are the jobs, weather, nightlife, etc.?

Flagstaff is a great place to live if you like the four seasons. It has a lot of activity because of NAU. This past winter they got clobbered with snow and cold It is around 7000 ft in altitude so it is chillier than many other places in AZ. I am not sure that the job market is great, but it depends on what you are looking for..However, AZ has a hellish sales tax and it also has an income tax. Flag is about three hours from Phoenix if that is any help.Is Flagstaff, Arizona a good place to live. How are the jobs, weather, nightlife, etc.?
It's a nice city - the weather conditions are four-season, though it doesn't get ridiculously cold in the winter nor ridiculously hot in the summer. It has a fairly lively downtown because of NAU nearby (it's kind of a college town.) There's also lots of bike trails and coffee shops.

The problems are that it is kind of small - there really isn't *that* much to do there as opposed to, say, Phoenix. There isn't a major airport, so you have to drive to Phoenix to fly anywhere. It's fairly expensive for where it is and what jobs it offers, which are a bit limited to the service and forestry industry, though NAU is there. Is Flagstaff, Arizona a good place to live. I'VE NEVER LIVED IN FLAGSTAFF, HOWEVER, I DID GO THERE WHEN VACATIONING IN ARIZONA AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT THERE. IF I COULD I WOULD MOVE TO ARIZONA, WEATHER IS FANTASTIC COMPARED TO KANSAS WEATHERIs Flagstaff, Arizona a good place to live. How are the jobs, weather, nightlife, etc.?
There's about 5 inches of snow every winter. There's no jobs. The city is small and boring.
No jobs!

It snows.

Cowboy bars!

People are losing jobs left and right in AZ.

Unless you want a low pay job an illegal use to do.
