Question about weather is Arizona?

I'm going to Arizona towards the end of February for 1 week....what should I pack? I live in New Hampshire--so I'm used to freezing cold weather at this time. We will be staying in Flagstaff--going to the Grand Canyon for a few days. What kinds of things should I expect to wear?

Thanks,

Northern Arizona will still be cold this time of year. The things you wear now are the same things you will want to bring.
End of February in Flagstaff? Sweatshirts, jackets and jeans. On the off chance that there might be snow, a coat, just in case. It won't be that cold, trust me. Not like New Hampshire. Brrrr. I couldn't stand that, being from Mesa.Question about weather is Arizona?
Unlike most of Arizona, the northern part of the state (including Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon) is up on the Colorado Plateau and thus gets cold temperatures and snow in winter. Storms tend to be shorter and milder than ones back east (especially with the drought the last few years), but it still gets plenty cold.

Both Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon South Rim are around 7,000 feet elevation (the canyon a little higher, Flag a little lower). If the weather is clear and warm expect highs in the 40s and nighttime lows well below freezing. If a storm or low pressure area is moving through expect snow fall (up to a foot for a major storm), daytime temps below freezing and night time temps below zero.

I would bring a heavy winter coat, warm hat, gloves and possibly boots. If you are planning on doing any hiking at the canyon, than also bring a heavy sweater or other base layer and consider having either instep-crampons or YakTraks for your boots. Note that if you are doing any serious hiking, temperatures generally get warmer as you go deeper into the canyon (the bottom is a desert climate).

It is always a good idea to check current conditions just before you go.
it'll be layer weather. Be prepared for cold nights and warmer days. When you are up at the Grand canyon, it will be colder than in Flagstaff (because of higher elevation), so be prepared for that. Also, weather will be changing that time of year, so really watch the national weather forcast and check out weather.com about a week before you come to get a better idea if it is still cold up there or if it's started to warm up.Question about weather is Arizona?
you could throw on a coat or even a sweatshirt and be fine. feb/march averages about 50 for the high and 20 for the low in flagstaff. if you are going to be hiking make sure to bring layers cause you will be either too hot or too cold and will definitely want something to take off or put on when you need it.
it's going to be cold, last night it got 35 and i'm not in flastaff, it gets lass then -1 at times there wear what you wear at home
bring t-shirts and shorts or capris. bring a light jacket for the evening since the nights are pretty cold sometimes.
The weather in Flagstaff during February averages 45 degrees fahrenheit for a high, and 19 degrees for a low. The weather in March averages 50 for a high and 23 for a low.

Late February in Flagstaff is probably like mid to late March in New Hampshire.

Flagstaff gets about 2.5 inches of rain in February and about the same amount in March.
Well, it snows in Flagstaff every year, so I would wear the same clothes you wear in New Hampshire in the winter. The spring and summer are fine though.
Look.. I have been in Arizona once,.. and the weather is like in Houston, where I used to live...

Knowing that you are kind of in the north of USA, in the south use to be warmer. BUt... is always good to take some warm clothes with you. BUt I am sure you will be not freezzingg!!!

Enjoy!
