What is the weather like in arizona around the end of august?

im going to a friends wedding in sedona, and its gonna be an out door ceremony. so should i dress for cold, of is it still warm there at that time of year?What is the weather like in arizona around the end of august?
Flaming hot! Sedona is usually about 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix. So if its 110 degrees in Phoenix, it will be at least 100 degrees in Sedona. Sedona sits at a higher elevation, so you will feel the heat and but good. It's always sunny there that time of year, so bring plenty of sunscreen and drink lots of water. Wear as little as possible.
Ohh it will plenty warm then. Granted it doesn't get as hot in Sedona as it does in Phoenix - but it will still be over 100 degrees every day in Phoenix at the end of August. Typically the mercury doesn't consistently dip below the 100 mark until mid-October.

Hot as Hell, and very dry
average temp for Sedona around August is 92 degrees. if the wedding is in the morning or late evening then expect the temp to be around 80-85 which is very nice!!



Sedona has monsoons during July/August to expect late afternoon/early evening rain showers pretty much every day. the rain doesn't last long but will drop the temperature down nicely.



bring mostly summer clothes with a pair of jeans and a light jacket just in case the rainy weather springs up while you are out and about.
