My fiance and I would love to go to Sedona for our honeymoon in June but I am worried it will be too hot and miserable to enjoy being outdoors. For those of you who live there or have traveled there during June, what do you think. I am from Idaho, which is very dry and hot in the summer so we are used to the heat but we definitely don't want to be miserable and not be able to enjoy our honeymoon. Also, what is there to do that is indoors to do in Sedona incase it is too hot? What is the weather like in Sedona, Arizona in the month of June?
Mid to upper 90s for the highs. Couldn't tell you what to do indoors I spend all my time outdoors But outdoors do the Jeep Ride I like the DAY IN THE WEST jeep rides. Maybe because I know a couple people that work their. Then go to Clarkdale and take the Verde Train Ride. Be sure to go to Cottonwood and go to the BlazinM Ranch its on 10th Street down from Dead Horse State Park. They have a great dinner show. When your in Sedona you can get info on the train ride and the BlazinM Ranch. I'm pretty sure they have a package deal that has both of them.
If you go to A Day In The West for your jeep ride and your interested in the para normal ask to have Black Wolf be your guide. He can tell you some very good stories
Be sure to do the couple things I listed. In my book the scenery you will see on the train ride puts the Grand Canyon to shame. Living here I have done both many times
Do a search on the net and you can read up about both places
