you said you want to live, so that leaves Hawaii, california out, you can not live there, you can survive, but unless you have $1,000,000 cash sitting around, you can not afford those places.
There are parts of AZ that are reasonable. If you really want a nice place, south Texas coast is good, just get inland enough so you do not have to worry about storm surges. Besides, no income tax in Texas!!!
I lived in Wisconsin for 45 years and suffered with not just the cold, but the endless depressing gray days and the dampness that chills us to the bone. Not so in the desert, and the 1st time I visited Arizona I was hooked. I lived in Florida and liked it but my heart was always in the desert. I just moved to AZ for good and I absolutely love it !! With myself and others, there is a certain "magic" about Arizona where you just feel fantastic being here. I live near Casa Grande which is about 40 miles south of Phoenix. Almost every day is perfect and the sun is always shining. Sunlight gives one a great sense of well being because it releases endorphins and "feel good" chemicals in the brain. The air is dry and to me, 80 and humid is more uncomfortable than 100 and dry. If you are used to a big yard or property, I would suggest you move to a smaller town where there is character and room. Many folks think to live in AZ., they need to be in the Phoenix area. Phoenix is very crowded and the homes have tiny back yards with a concrete wall around them. Some criticize AZ as too hot especially in the summer, but what is better, 8 months in cold and gray and stuck inside, or 3 months of hot and inside with air conditioning? You just might forget though, what rain is. Come on down, you'll love it and we'll keep the light on for ya !!I want to move to a state that has nice weather year long... Kinda like Arizona. Any sugestions? ?
If you like AZ weather, move to AZ. I've heard it described as 10 months of Paradise and two months of Hell. The two months are the summer rainy season when you get both heat and humidity. You could try other states in the desert SW, if that is what you like. Suggestion: try visiting the state you want to live in during different times of the year to see if you like it.
%26lt;%26lt;Vancouver, --- the summers are seriously hot.%26gt;%26gt;
and you're considering Arizona? you gotta be kidding !!!!!!!!!!
someone else suggested Hawaii.
they probably have the most moderate weather.
but it's EXPEN$IVE.
and quite a number of people get "Island Fever".
(that is, it doesn't take long before you'd like more room than your island has.)I want to move to a state that has nice weather year long... Kinda like Arizona. Any sugestions? ?
