Never been before, would like to know what the weather is like there during the month of December.What is the weather like in Arizona in December?

This year we had a cooler than average winter. The best advice I can give you is check the weathr forecast a week or so before you come. Dress in layers and bring a jacket.
The landscape is very diverse so it will obviously be much colder up in the mountains than it is in the desert.

Arizona is in a desert, and true to desert nature it's windy. Don't assume that deserts are hot all the time, even though you don't see 10 feet of snow, you will experience weird unstable weather extremes (warm to considerably cold almost out of no where), and you will get hit with really cold wind gusts. Arizona isn't too far from the ocean, so it catches some of that chill factor during the winter. So, it's not super cold, but you will see temps ranging from 40 degrees to 20 depending on the day. 20 is rare.
