It's usually cooler in Tucson all year-round because of the elevation difference and having less of an urban heat island effect. Phoenix is also more humid because of the surrounding farmland (Tucson has some farms nearby, but not nearly as many).

Tucson is about 1400 feet higher in elevation than Phoenix but Idont know if is cooler on the average or not.What is Tucson arizona's weather like during each season?
Spring - two weeks, three if you're lucky, of perfect weather.

Summer - Super HOT to a little humid in August!

Winter - warm then super cold.

Tucson tends to be about 10 degress cooler than Phoenix considering thet Tucson has a much higher elevation than Phoenix. Phoenix is about 1700 ft above sea level and Tucson is about 2400 ft above sea level.



However like Phoenix, They only get snow once in a blue moon.

Both experence a no rain period usually from Late FEB to Late June Early July. Monsoon season starts from Late June to Early July and will last through Mid- september. In the Moonsoon it will rain and thunder and lightning will strike everyday starting in the afternoons and the temps will drop from the high 100's to the 70's in a second.



After Mid-September the temps will drop and be in the 40-70's range with lots of non-monsoon rain coming and going at periods at a time.



Tucson can get as cold as 10 during the winter nights and as hot as 113 during the summer.
Same as Phoenix, hot, dry, misserable!!
