I've lived in michigan my whole life but I'd like to move to Arizona. Just seeing if I can endure the change in weatherIs the weather in Arizona tolerable?
I've never been to Arizona but I've been to Las Vegas which has the same type of climate. It's very dry in that region of the U.S. so it's not humid at all like it would be where you live. So the heat is tolerable because it feels a little cooler than it actually is but it's still hot. But it's only hot for a few months in the year and then it cools off. Some places like the Grand Canyon can get really cold. But the heat is not that bad. We had similar weather on Long Island as soon as I got back from my trip to Vegas and the heat felt a lot worse with the humidity.
its not bad! Depending on what you can stand! Is the weather in Arizona tolerable?
No, hot hot hot
Nine months out of the year it's heaven, three months of hell to make up for it. Be prepared for hot...hot like you've never known. 115 degrees is no joke.Is the weather in Arizona tolerable?
Its like being in an oven when it's summer!!
I think it depends on what you are used to. I'm a New Englander and used to more humid heat. When I visited Arizona, it had been over the summer and was an extreme dry heat. The temperature reached about 109, but I was wearing jeans and t-shirt still without breaking a sweat since the air was so dry. You do dehydrate and burn very easy out there, so keep water, a hat and sunscreen handy at all times, but other than that it's very tolerable!
it really dry and humid when the wind blows its hot hot air
i think thats a drastic weather change you need to really think about it maybe plan a vacation and stay a week
summer in az must be a killer
