What is the weather in Prescott, Arizona like in mid-January?

It snows but not much. Sometimes enough to go sledding, other years hardly anything. A great site is city-data.com, it gives pics, averages, other info.

It's typically 15-20 degrees cooler than the Phoenix area. So if it's a chilly 50 for us...it's near 30 for them. What is the weather in Prescott, Arizona like in mid-January?

I lived in Payson for a few years and the winters were too cold for me. Payson is at 5000 ft elevation and Prescott is about 5600. Note the record cold for Prescott -21deg brrrr

I am down by Yuma now where winter lows are around 40 deg. Summer heat is almost unbearable though. But today we were 98 deg and about 65 at night, that I love. What is the weather in Prescott, Arizona like in mid-January?
