Anyone lives in tempe arizona ?

I have just landed as a student. I have no idea. Can you give me some tips. Like what is weather like in 12 months ? What should be most careful off ?

Tips:

1. Its hot but you get used to it and it becomes nice.

2. Winters are chilly but its like a perfect temperature, not hot but not cold. Just wear a light jacket.

3. Careful of what? Don't know what that means. Um... I guess not being in the heat for a long time.

4. Arizona has a lot of things to offer. Amazing water parks (Bigsurf, Sunsplash and are in the making of a gigantic one!)

Tempe...you must be a student at ASU. Congrats! The weather in Tempe is beautiful. To check out the weather, you can look at the climate maps!



I highly recommend this site. It has excellent climate maps for Arizona. You can search by month for average temperature, precip, snowfall, etc. Hope this helps!

Keep a water bottle handy until you get used to the heat.

Wear sunscreen, sunglasses and perhaps a hat.

Don't pick up a coin found in the parking lot, it will burn your hand.

October is a nice month, but streets can get crowded with retired snowbirds in campers.

People are nice and Tempe is located in a nice area.

its just always hot. and it feels like there is no air. lol. but its not that bad. its nice. the weather is breezy in feb. though. i like tempe :)
