Anything that raises your core body temperature is not good for your developing baby. This includes laying out in the sun, tanning beds, hot tubs... etc. Think of your child. You can talk to your doctor to see if they think spray tanning/sunless tanners are safe, but don't use anything until you get the OK from a licensed physician.
No, not smart. Raising your core temperature that high is life threatening to your baby! When speaking to my OB at my first prenatal appointment about running he advised me NOT to run outside (I live in Louisiana) because the summers here are excruciatingly hot! He said its not safe for baby! So spray tan if you can. Being a little pale is a small price to pay now for a healthy baby later! All the best! Can I tan while pregnant in hot weather?
I did this and I live in Florida. All you have to do is keep yourself hydrated and if you have a pool to jump in every so often do that. Otherwise step inside for a few minutes to cool off. Is not about your belly getting tan as it is the core body temp rising. That is why you aren't supposed to take got baths or go on hot tubs cos they raise your core body temp. Just keep hydrated and cool yourself off often. You'll be fine. Just don't make a habit of this tho:)
@ nikki cancer isn't something you catch.. therefore your immune system being weak has absolutely nothing to do with skin cancer. Cancer is an overgrown of mutated cells in your body. And are you aware that most people have a vitamin d deficiency cos cancer has made everyone retardedly scared of the sun. I was in thr sun when I was pregnant. I wore sunblock stayed hydrated and jumped in my pool often. My son is here and extremely healthy. Anything can give you cancer. When are you gonna realize that?
Yes, but make sure that you use a high SPF(50+) because pregnant women are far more prone to burning. Avoid peak times, from 11am till 3pm, sit in the shade and don't let yourself get too hot, a rise in core body temperature can be detrimental to your little one's health.

I'd keep it to a few half hour sessions at a time to avoid burning and/or overheating. Can I tan while pregnant in hot weather?
maybe but if u do u must stay hydrated and if u get tooo hot then u need to go in. but i personally wouldnt with it being soo hot because of the risk of heat stroke and all that. and if do end up doing it if u notice in changes in ur babys activitycall ur obgyn and tell then what u did and what is happening
When will people learn that tanning causes Cancer!! You are more prone to getting it when you're pregnant cuz your immune system is weak! Also your body heats up in the inside faster so you will be boiling your poor baby :(( please don't do it. Wait until after birth.
You can get a spray tan.

I saw on Toddlers %26amp; Tiaras (I'm a pageant queen) where 9 month pregnant women can get a spray tan. %26amp; I figure it would be safe to lay out. You may wanna drape a towel over your belly, just in case.

Hope I helped!
No, you put your baby at risk in those temperatures. Is it really worth it?
