Arizona forests current condition?

my teacher wants a couple pages about arizonas forests and their current condition but im not sure what he is asking for. is there something wrong with arizona forests? so far ive only found weather reports which arent very helpful :(Arizona forests current condition?

Always hard to tell if this sort of thing is a denier trying to be sarcastic or someone looking for real info.
On the off chance it is the latter, then Arizona does indeed have forests (although it is known for it's desert environment) they are found in the North East in an area called the Colorado Plateau which actually covers four different states.
