Should I live in Arizona?

I am joining my sister in Scottsdale, Arizona, and I heard it is pretty hot up there.

How hot is it there in the summer? Winter?

I am asking this, because I get very itchy (VERY) when I have hot weather. I start getting red, I itch all over my body and head , yada yada. What should I do?

Conclusion: I have very sensitive skin that is not compatible with hot weather, should I move in with my sister at Scottsdale, Arizona? Please tell me the average temperatures in the summer and winter.Should I live in Arizona?
The average high in the summer is over 102 degrees. If you have a skin condition then you shouldn't live here. In the winter it is in the 50's or 60's. By the way thanks for the thumbs down on an honest answer.
M-k... Well this is the "horses mouth" you're hearing it from- So listen up; The Summers here in Scottsdale are LONG and BROILING... From about May 15th to October 1st in a NORMAL year it's over a 100 degrees almost every day. A "Hot Day" in the Summer here- is over 110 (we had 32 of those- last year). And a VERY Hot Day- is anything over 115 (we had 2 or 3 of those last year- too). Summer nights are in the 80s %26amp; 90s (%26amp; THAT's when most people come out- %26amp; do their shopping). The Winters ARE Beautifull Here- with daytime temps from 55 to 70 , and 35 to 45 degrees at night. AND, if we're REALLY lucky, it'll rain once or twice a month- all year (Rain is a BIG DEAL Here. Anyone who complains about Rain - is Arrested, Charged, %26amp; Sentenced- to Three weeks on a Highway Asphalt Crew- in JULY!!! Most of the perpetrators- don't "make it"- to August). So it's YOUR Skin... And if you think it's Red NOW...... :0 !Should I live in Arizona?
phoenix and suburban cities are wonderful areas and places to visit or live in. the people are friendly. there is lots to do especially if you like to shop and go out to eat. the scenery is beautiful.

you shouldn't live there though because it even feels like summer time to us northerners during the winter months.

i know because i jsut visited my aunt and uncle in chandler that have lived there for 12 years year round and the weather is so nice it sucked having to go back to the cold snowy weather of maine.

fortunately though when i graduate high school in june i'm moving in with them xD

so yeah you shouldn't move there if your skin is sensative to heat but you could try ggetting medication for your skin and if that works than yes deff move to arizona! xD
Anywhere from 105 to 115 in the summer during the daytime. During the winter it is mild, usually the high temperature is in the 60's or 70's. The drivers are terrible here and the education system is even worse.

The sun is relentlessly beating down during the summertime and the heat is oppressive. People do not even spend time outside during the summer here.Should I live in Arizona?
its so hot here, around 110-120 and im not exageratting but the winter is nice, lately its been upper 70s and a couple 80s. I just try to do my shopping at night and the summer just seems to go on and on and winter is over in a flash. joeseph explained it all very well!!!
People are really underestimating. The temperatures taken (those forecasted and posted) are taken it the shade at sky harbor aiport; thus, in the sun it will be about 10 - 15 degrees hotter always. My mom always kept a thermometer in the sun in our backyard to compare the differences when I was growing up. It is not uncommon for the temp to be as high as 120 and I've seen it as high as 130, these numbers are just not commonly reported. Chances are you will adjust to the heat, but if it makes you ill, I would not recommend a move out there.
Its so HOT in Arizona. During the summer it can average from 105 - 115. If you can not handle the heat DO NOT MOVE HERE.
If you move here you'll be a lobster from May to September.
