How hard is it moving to arizona from the uk?

im a new graduate in an international tourism degree plus a sport and adventure foundation degree.i love america and everything about it and really want to go live in arizona, maybe somewhere around the phoenix metro area.iv been doing reading and the place sounds like paradise to me; sunshine, activities, wild west culture, american lifestyle, outdoor sports and even ski resorts only a couple of hours away.

im soon to be doing an internship in the united states for 6 months but im not sure which region yet, i really hope i can get a placement in arizona.

i can handle hot weather, i tan rather than burn and iv spent time in many hot areas including parts of australia and spain but cold weather and rain depresses me, hence the reason id like to escape the UK and live in the desert.the UK's bad weather, housing market (especially for new graduates),expensive prices, high crime rates and poor quality of life are fuelling my urge to emigrate.

im looking for some advice on what it is like to live there, how hard it would be to move and what i should expect.i know it is very hard to move to the united states in the same way that it is for US citizens to come to britain.im 22, young free and single and i would really love to go and ill do everything i can to make it happen. any advice from az locals or british expats will be great cheersHow hard is it moving to arizona from the uk?
In order to work in the US your employer has to apply for your work permit on your behalf, you cannot do it yourself. First they have to try to fill vacancies from within the US, with over 20 million unemployed very few will go to the cost and effort of trying to recruit abroad. You may be a graduate but with no practical experience you are of no real interest to an American employer so none will go to the effort.

Without a work permit you will be refused va residence permit. So for practical purposes your idea is a non starter.

Not trying to be negative, just telling you the truth.

You can see all the gory details on the US Embassy website. How hard is it moving to arizona from the uk?
The plain truth is , you cannot immigrate to the U.S.....unless you have an American relative to sponsor you, then it takes years. To get an employer sponsor , you need to be so skilled in a rare job, that the employer cannot find an American for the job. You are lucky to have the internship in the U.S., but after that/...you need to look at other options. How hard is it moving to arizona from the uk?
