What city that has good transit system,no hot weather, arts scene,gay-friendly, nice scenery ?

I live in Arizona can't stand it anymore. I am conducting a search for cities to consider moving to where you can enjoy being outdoors without dropping dead from heat stroke. I'm looking for a liberal, cultural, friendly city with no severe heat. Also, a pretty place, like nice scenery and nature nearby or within. A good public transit system is a necessity, since a family member doesn't drive and needs more freedom. Also, looking for a city with a good-sized gay / transgender population. I think New York City is interesting but I cannot afford those sort of rent prices. I have a sort of middle-of-the-road income. Doesn't have to be a big city that everyone's heard of , just a place that fills those basic things I'm looking for. Thank you very much. What city that has good transit system,no hot weather, arts scene,gay-friendly, nice scenery ?
San Fransisco....great city.
NYC and San Fran prices are way high.

Possibly Columbus, OH? We have a bus system, and a great diverse environment.

There is Gay Street...German Village (widely known as where all the gays live). German Village is very clean and pretty.

The surrounding colleges add to the already liberal, free-spirited atmosphere.

And during the summer, the heat is no where near Arizona'sWhat city that has good transit system,no hot weather, arts scene,gay-friendly, nice scenery ?
San Francisco fits the bill, but it is mega expensive.Southern California is great too but again, the cost of living is crazy there too.
I'd suggest Austin. It's super-outdoorsy, gay friendly, and a really cool place to live. As a student, I can testify on behalf of the city buses. It does get hot in the summer, but it's only really bad in July, certainly cooler than AZ. The city motto is "Keep Austin Weird." Use that as your frame of reference. What city that has good transit system,no hot weather, arts scene,gay-friendly, nice scenery ?
CANADA!!
Boston or Providence RI would fit the bill. They're a little less expensive than New York. Although the summers can be pretty hot in both places, they're not nearly as bad as Arizon.

You will have to get used to the cold, though.
If you're gay,I would say frisco.
I hear that Boystown Chicago has everything you're looking for. Give it a look.
Timbuktu
Vancouver canada although how good the transit i'm not too sure of but beautiful year round
San Francisco but the rent....
canada yo...i think gays can legally get married there, not sure though
Yeah, I was based in Yuma, AZ for 3 years, so I know what you are going through.

Vancouver offers all of the things you described above. I've been there, beautiful, the Seabus is a good, plus you really don't need a car, it's actually better to walk everywhere, because not only is it good exercise, but because the place is so beautiful you would want to walk everywhere.

If you want any information on the city of Vancouver, email me or IM me and I will tell you any kind of information. Plus, I'm getting ready to move there within the next year.
