I bet you would really like Payson. It is about an hour and 1/2 north of Phoenix. It really is beautiful country. As far as home prices I attached a website with some pictures/prices. It is much cooler up there than it is down here in the valley too. Check it out!

Although I live in Canada, and am still young (17). I have visited both states for long durations of time being a scouted baseball pitcher, and I can without a doubt state that Scottsdale, Arizona is the nicest city outside of California I have seen throughout the United States. The scenery, the people, the developments, no matter what you are looking for in a new home, this is the place to be. It is developing and the real estate value there is booming. I know many people that have spoken about moving there from Canada even, so I would say it is your best bet. Awesome atmosphere, great people, good times, no better place to live in Arizona.

No matter where you decide to live, Arizona is an awesome state which I would LOVE to be a part of, and you're very fortunate to be moving there.

All the best and Happy New Years!,

SCOTTSDALE. I'm sorry it is pretty warm but get a house or condo on a hill and you should be fine. The city is very upscale but you could probably find something. The median home price, I'd say is probably 400-500k? I know for a fact some areas go for over 4million!I will be moving from California to Arizona; What's the best city or county to live in?
Flagstaff is very nice. you'll get all 4 seasons there. Summer temperatures normally are in the mid to upper 80's. It does snow, at times alot. The median house price from what I've seen is around 250K.
Go for scottsdale! its beautiful, not too crowded, just outside of phoenix. Median house price is 300,000-450,000$, depending on the size you want. Beautiful weather, Or if your looking for snow and low population areas look into payson or strawberry area. higs in the 70's and80's through the summer but cold snowy winters and only an hour and a half drive from phoenix. You will really enjoy living in arizona.
Well, depending on what weather you like, you should definitely let that take a roll in your decision. If you don't like the hustle and bustle, you could live in Carefree. If you like to have snow at this time of year, Flagstaff, Prescott, or Williams would be nice. If you're like my dad, you would want to live in a sunnier climate. If you move to the metropolitan area, you will be living the city life. Places like Phoenix and Glendale will definitely be having you move. If you want to talk about money, Carefree is a VERY expensive place to live. Peoria (where I live) is a pretty affordable place. So you might like the busier area. Flagstaff is a nice place, pretty affordable. Hope That Helped!
chandler.... or scotsdale...
There are many good places you would have to see them for your self to see if you would like anyone of them.
Well, Arizona is not for you, if you do not like heat, most areas are around 120 degrees inthe summer unless you go up to Flagstaff, and forget reasonable housing there. Hate to bring you down, but this is the truth, it is hard as hell to find a job in Arizona, The economy is largely dependent on agriculture and the military, with very few exceptions. Think it through, and do a lot of research before making the move. Good luck.
Phoenix isn't the best place to live because in the summer its really hot and it get as hot as 115 btu the have good things that go on during the night like goood club called the buzz and the new years eve block party in tempe every year and the parades it very cool at here every once in a while.
You'll have to pick. I live in Tucson - very nice. Try the link below for all things Tucson.
You won't like the Phoenix-Tucson area's for not being hot. I prefer the East Valley (Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert).
Prescott Valley, Prescott,
