Im thinking about moving to Arizona, but i would like to know which is the best part to move to.?

job wise[is arizona a good place to relocate to]. Weather, traffic, things to do,school[kids%26amp;%26amp; adults],cost of living[apt or houses.] Anything to help. We are trying to move this summer. And want to make the right choice. Thanks.Im thinking about moving to Arizona, but i would like to know which is the best part to move to.?
We moved here 12 yrs ago. We ended up in Prescott area. WE don't have any kids at home, so schools weren't an issue with us. We chose this area for the nice weather. Its alot cooler in summer vs Phoenix. about 90 everyday, and 70's at night, perfect. And in winter, its like 50's and 60's during the day, with a few worse and colder days. And about 20 every night. Summer we can go north to Flagstaff for summer activities, and in winter to get a break from the winter coolness, go to Phoenix. We actually live in Prescott Valley, a small town with lots of schools including charter schools. Lots of shopping here and in Prescott. One main route in this area, route 69 is about the worse for traffic, thats between Prescott Valley and Prescott, but nothing like Phoenix. There are several colleges here also. As far as cost of living. Right now apts about $600-$1000 of course depending on how many bedrooms, as far as buying a house, lots right now for around 100k, very nice buys. Heating and cooling, goes along with the weather, here we can shut our ac off at night most of the time. and heat down during the day in winter alot of the times. As far as autos, ins, is about the same all over. registration is kinda high in AZ if its a newer vehicle, but it goes down every yr as you own it. Kids get bored I think no matter where you live. We do have some cool stuff around the Christmas holidays. We have a minor league ice hockey team and 5 yr old arean that is a venue for events, concerts and sports. Tim's Toyota Center, and Arizona Sundogs hockey, if you wanna goggle that venue. Lots of nice trails for hiking, lots of good camping around here. AT least you get out of the city life of Phoenix, but its not that far away if you wanna go do some serious shopping, an hour or hour and a half drive, or Flagstaff is also an hour away. Two hours from the Grand Canyon, 3 and a half from Vegas. Feel free to email me for more info. hkingnaz@yahoo.com

Depending upon where you work, the nicest cities are as follows:
Scottsdale (a bit expensive), Tempe (also a bit expensive, but close to university, shopping and lots of downtown culture) and Chandler (The suburbs just outside of Phoenix; very reasonably priced housing and a very good part of town all around.)
Mesa is a very very large area, so looking there can be a crapshoot- it spans from west mesa (Kind of crappy) to east mesa (Retirement community) and has a few good spots in between, but unless you know what to look for and where, you could end up in the middle of nowhere in a very expensive house.
I highly recommend the city Avondale

it's nice, quiet, peaceful, abundant with housing, and best of all, inexpensive
