I'm thinking of going to Arizona State University in the fall?

I'm from boston and used to the "four seasons" weather, can anyone tell me what the weater around arizona state is like?I'm thinking of going to Arizona State University in the fall?
Arizona State Is in Tempe, which is right by Phoenix. So it is just like Phoenix. Hot and sunny in the summer and cool and sunny in the winter with 60 days of rain tossed in every now and then a year.
Phoenix is one of the hottest places in one of the hottest states. It gets chilly (usually at night), but never gets cold, and there are no trees, so no autumn.

You can always drive a little out of town (Flagstaff, Sedona, Payson, etc.) to see the seasons if needed. You're better off staying East Coast though, I think.I'm thinking of going to Arizona State University in the fall?
Well it might get colder than you think (but nothing like Boston), and you get used to the heat pretty fast. Of course it is very dry, but like the other post mentioned if you head up north it has all four seasons. If you aren't going to take summer school it might be perfect for you. You can head back home when we get them110+ heat. So the time you will be here will be like spring break all the time.
Summer and not Summer! :) Summer starts earlier here than most places and it gets pretty hot in the middle of the day pretty much from Mid-April to September/October. From October-November and February - Mid-April, it is beautiful!! December and January can be a little cold (nothing like Boston), but we will have freeze warnings at night time.

Granted, this is all for Tempe/Phoenix area. Tucson or Flagstaff would be different.I'm thinking of going to Arizona State University in the fall?
Okay I live in AZ and so I can tell you that the weather is not too bad. About 3 months of the year is around 110 and yea it brutal, but there are trees and you go from air-conditioned house to air-conditioned building and etc. that you don't even notice it. Swimming is a big sport around here. Even if you don't have a pool I GUARANTEE that you will meet someone who does. The rest of the 9 months are around 85 and wonderful. The scenery is real pretty so is Boston just no the same. ASU rocks bty the way there so much to do and its a awesome school.
