Which parts of the USA have a nice cool, chilly or cold weather condition?

Other than the upper US states, what other states/regions/cities have this lovely cool, chilly or cold temperature in autumn, winter or spring? Not sure about California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississipi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. I know those states have their all-year round warmth and humidity, but do they experience seasonal cold temperatures like in London, New York, Chicago, Paris, Switerland etc.Which parts of the USA have a nice cool, chilly or cold weather condition?
I've done a lot of traveling and studying geography.

Of course the northern states are going to have cold winters. Of the states you've mentioned parts or all of; California, Arizona, New Mexico, North Carolina and even Texas will have cool, chilly winters, but not freezing with lots of snow.Which parts of the USA have a nice cool, chilly or cold weather condition?
Personally, I can't stand cold weather, but if you like it, there are some regions outside of the northern half of the USA with cold weather, most of those places will be in higher elevations.

In areas normally associated with warn climates, you may want to consider the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Carolinas, Flagstaff, AZ, Sante FE and Taos, NM, the sierras of California, and some of the mountains outside of Las VegasWhich parts of the USA have a nice cool, chilly or cold weather condition?
